I was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1982. I attended St. Michaels secondary school before studying electronic engineering at University College Dublin (UCD). I graduated from UCD with a B.E. in 2005. I am currently employed as a geophysicist/seismic processor for a company specialising in sub-surface 3D mapping. My work is centered on marine acquisition, so I work from on board a survey ship for six months of the year.

My job unsurprisingly takes me to a lot of exotic places, and I love to travel on my own time but I still call Dublin my home.

I'm passionate about world history and politics. I'm also fascinated by science, physics is particular. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and computer games though if fresh air is required, I play golf.
