I am a recently retired U.S. Army Maintenance Supervisor. I have spent the past twenty eight plus years as an actively participating member of the armed forces in the following chronological capacities: Regular Army Enlisted Soldier in the Signal Corps; U.S. Army Drilling Reservist in the Medical and Adjutant General's Corps; AGR (Active Guard/Reserve) NCO (Non-commissioned Officer) in the Adjutant General, Quartermaster and Ordnance Corps. I benefited from 28.5 years of military experience in the following areas of emphasis: Unit Supply Specialist (Logistics); Heavy Wheel Mechanic (Wheeled Vehicle Maintnenance Management); BMET (Bio-medical Equipment Repair Technician; Telephone/Wire Systems Installer/Operator; and F.M. (Frequency Modulation) Radio Operator. I successfully completed a long list of U.S. Army Acedemic Courses which exceeded the basic requirements for a career enlisted soldier. I received a B.A. in business with an emphasis in marketing from Regis University, Denver, Colorado in 2003 and an M.B.A. (Master of Business Administration) in the Strategic Management Specialty from Davenport University in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 2008. M.B.A. course work included a thesis entitled, "Migrant Labor and the California Agricultural Industry." This comprehensive study examined the relationship between California’s successful agricultural industry and the migrant work force. Further, the legal requirements were discussed in detail with relevance to the effect the migrant worker has on this industry. This research revealed the costs associated with the maintenance of a migrant labor force, such as education, medical expenses, and incarcerations. Further, the author provided a detailed background of California’s Central Valley with respect to geography and demographics, as applicable to the migrant worker and the agricultural industry. I possess an encyclopedic knowledge base of progressive rock of the 1970's, to include general knowledge in the following genres: traditional jazz-50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's, classic rock, alternative, punk, new wave, classical, jazz-rock fusion, rap, soul, contemporary country, classic country, americana and bluegrass. As a high school student, I submitted music reviews to Stereo Review and Rolling Stone magazines. I possessed the ability to articulate the english language in written form at a very young age. I grew up in western New York. My father was a Physical Therapist, who quickly got me invoved in sports at a young age. Since then, I have been an avid jogger and opinionated sports fan.
