I am an applied cognitive psychologist. I received my Ph.D from the University of Utah in 1974. Although I have taught college courses as well as written a correspondence course for Introductory Psychology, I have spent most of my career working in government and industry. I have published in a variety of refereed journals. My primary interests are in applying cognitive psychology. Of special interest are applications to technology, with the goal of using technology to leverage human potential. I am a former President of Division 21 (Applied Experimental and Engineering Psychology) of the American Psychological Association.
