I have served as an instructor and now assistant professor of computer science at Harding University (Search, Arkansas) since 1997. Before joining Harding, I worked as a software engineer at Lockheed Martin Astronautics (Denver, Colorado). I am currently completing my Ph.D. at Old Dominion University (Norfolk, Virginia); my dissertation focuses on restoring lost websites by utilizing the Web Infrastructure. My research interests include digital preservation, web archiving, web crawling, search engines, and digital libraries. I have published numerous conference, journal, and magazine articles in these areas.

I have been a Christian most of my life and enjoy discussing faith issues with others. Other personal interests include sports, movies, and blogging.
