Dr. Indranill Basu Ray is a trained Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist, In-Charge of the Centre for Research in Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Harvard-Thorndike Electrophysiology Institute, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and is also holds the position of a faculty in Medicine at the Harvard Medical School, Harvard University. Academic background: Dr. Indranill Basu Ray did his medical school from Nilratan Sircar medical college in Calcutta, India. He thereafter did his specialty and super specialty training in Medicine and Cardiology respectively from India. Then he got trained in one of the latest branches of cardiology called invasive cardiac electrophysiology from the St’ Michaels’ Hospital, University of Toronto, Canada. He did further training in interventional electrophysiology research at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.
