John Moore is a part owner of Commercial Properties Services, LLC, a commercial real estate investment and management company based in Michigan. He earned a BBA in accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 1979. He has also earned an MS in Finance from Walsh College, an MA from American Military University, and is presently pursuing a doctorate in American History from Wayne State University. His research focus is antebellum American tariffs.

John has also worked as an adjunct faculty member at Walsh College since 1994. During that time, he has taught seventeen different courses in the areas of accounting, economics, finance and history.

John's hobbies include a passion for both baseball and history. He is a die hard Tigers fan (even when they were bad!) and has had the privilege to attend a world series game, an all star game, and a no-hitter in his travels. John also enjoys Civil War history and has made numerous presentations to local civil war roundtables.
