Since 1987, Ginny (K. Virginia) has been on the cutting edge of the world of cheerleading. She cheered for the local little league football team and competed first, on their recreational competition squad and then was selected for their all-star competition team. She cheered on the Atlee High School JV and Varsity squads. She was also on her high school dance team. Ginny was selected to cheer at Queens College in Charlotte, NC as well.

Ginny started coaching and choreographing cheerleading squads at the age of fourteen. In that time, she has coached teams at the recreational (little league), all-star and high school levels. Ginny is a founding staff member at the gym, which is only in its fourth year of operation, but has already won 4 NLCC “Worlds Best” titles and 2 runner-up titles which were broadcast nationally on Fox Sports and Comcast Sportsnet and over 100 National Champion Titles.

Since 1996, Ginny has judged cheerleading and dance competitions along the East Coast. Since 2002, she has been certified by Virginia High School League (the governing body for Virginia public high schools sports) to judge competitions throughout the state based on rules established by the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS). Since 2002, Ginny actively judges cheerleading competitions at the national level, specializing in safety rules enforcement for several national competition companies including the NLCC, Spirit Unlimited, ECA, National Cheer Stars and American Cheer and Dance Academy and served as a 2008 NLCC Final Destination “The World’s Best” Head Judge.

Ginny believes that practicing her craft is the best way to stay in “the know” so, for the last three years Ginny has cheered on a team competing in the 18 yrs. and older-pro open division. This team won the American Cheer Power pro-open national championship in 2003 and the NCA US Championship in 2005.
