Currently I am 27 years old, and enrolled at the University of Alberta working towards an honours economics bachelors degree. I am also currently working as a Research Assistant for the Western Centre for Economic Research, for the School of Business at the University of Alberta. Prior to that, I worked as a Research Assistant for the Canadian Building Energy End-use Data and Analysis Centre, also located at the University of Alberta.

I am also the founder and former president of the Economics Students’ Association, at the University of Alberta.

I can speak Chinese as a second language, being able to read about 700 characters (a work in progress). I can understand a basic amount of American Sign Language.

Prior to this academic path, I worked in the software development field for 7 years, having long ago obtained a Diploma in Object-Oriented Software Technologies from the University of Alberta.

I also have interests in Martial Arts, and am currently a member of the University of Alberta Judo Club. I have prior instruction in Ninjitsu and Shaolin Kung Fu.

You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!
