I am a British software engineer of ten years experience in a wide range of fields and with a variety of languages. My degree is in engineering although I am more interested in linguistics. Since graduating I have spent seven years in Japan, mostly in Tokyo and its environs.

I can speak and read Japanese fluently, and have passable French.
