Steve Morgan grew up on a farm/ranch operation and served in the U. S. Marines Corps with Marine Air Group 36 in Vietnam from 1967~68. He also served honorably in the U. S. Air Force in Radio Relay. His background, in addition to military service, includes experience with both beef and dairy science, the petroleum industry, trucking and transportation, and public utilities. After a work related injury in 2002 resulted in early retirement, he enrolled at Blinn College, Bryan Campus. While in rehabilitation he majored in Computer Networking Administration and was granted membership in The National Scholars Honor Society with a 3.47 GPA. His extensive travels’ and experience include fifteen countries and 45 states. He is a member of the Brazos County Texas Citizen Sheriff’s Academy Alumni Association, the local VFW Post 4692, American Legion Post 159, Vietnam Veterans of American Chapter #937, the Disabled American Veterans Bryan – College Station Chapter 200, and Sul Ross Camp No. 1457, Sons of Confederate Veterans in Bryan, Texas,. An equine enthusiast, he is also a member of the American Morgan Horse Association. Steve has lived in the Bryan area since 1982.
