About Me

A "Hacker" in the original sense of the word, I've been messing around with technology in various forms since birth; ever since I discovered that throwing a radio on the floor made the back come off, revealing the exotic innards, I was in love. Electronics has remained a hobby, whilst system administration and development have paid the bills.

Originally from Southeast London, I'm now living in Philadelphia with a wife and three parrots. These days I work full-time as a software developer on projects ranging from low level systems and signal-processing tools, to customer-facing web applications, using a wide variety of open-source tools and environments.

My particular areas of knowledge and experience include:

Education

1989 - 3 A Levels (Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics) - Crown Woods School, London 1996 - BSc (Hons) Psychology with Computer Science - Goldsmiths College, University of London

Employment

Written work

Despite having worked in academic related roles for the majority of my working life, I'm not an academic and therefore loth to call this section "Publications". Nonetheless I have a number of articles published in a variety of places, both on-line and in print; most notably 2600 magazine and DaemonNews.
