My strong interest in theology, including the examination of present-day Christianity in comparison and contrast to early Christianity, initiated my writing, in 1998, several articles disputing the current teachings held by Jehovah's Witnesses. These led to my being excommunicated from the Watchtower organization as a member in 2005 when I refused to recant my views.

In 1999, I became the founder and moderator for an online forum called Pathways, where Jehovah's Witnesses and ex-members could meet together online and openly discuss issues with the teachings and policies of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society, including the effect these have on one's faith and group acceptance. Due to outside obligations, I finally closed the forum in 2006 to focus on my business as a website developer. Still, I continue to educate myself in matters of theology, the Bible, and the various branches of Christianity, and am presently preparing a book for publication on the subject of the heaven as a destination for Christians and whether it originates in the Bible itself.
