Howard Berkowitz created a table, that compared US ranks with Nato ranks.
I know enough to know it contains some errors, but I don't know enough to fix it.
If anyone else has this article on their watchlist, may I ask whether it might be simpler to just trim out the problematic table?

There are all kinds of ranks. Potentially most or all of them could each have their own article, explaining the derivation of the name, and the subtle ways the term is used in different nation's services. But that largely hasn't been done yet, and in the interim I figured a stub like this would have a limited value.

My plan is to redirect missing ranks to this stub. I have no ego attachment to this version. Frankly at this point, creating those other articles, or beefing up this article are not high priorities. George Swan 13:38, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
