In 1989, I received a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Univercity of British Columbia (located in Vancouver, B.C., Canada).

Until 1997, I was working primarily in Canada along with an enjoyable stint in Anchorage, Alaska. Since then I have effectively been living in Europe working for large Multinational corporations as a freelance IT consultant. Since late 2002, I have been working in the Pharmaceutical industry and previous to that in the Telecommunications industry.

I have a keen interest in SCUBA diving, history, computers, BMWs, and of late fresh water aquarium fish. This latest interest appears to be inherited from my father, Karl Walter of Killifish fame, and was successfully suppressed for 41 years.
