I double majored in mathematics and computer science at UC Berkeley. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in computer science at UC Berkeley, and should be finished in December 2008. My research is in the area of parallel processing on multicore architectures. More specifically, I am focusing on linear algebra on sparse matrices on GPUs. While I am quite proficient in both mathematics and computer science, my main interesting in Citizendium is the articles that it has on the history of technology. In particular, I am fascinated by the history of human agriculture, and look forward to learning more about it.
