A recently-qualified higher education librarian in Canterbury, UK, my extra-curricular interests mostly involve the theatre, whether attending, working backstage or performing in amateur and semi-professional productions of musicals and operas.

My route through higher education includes a BA in English Language and Theatre Studies, an MA in Literature and a Postgraduate Diploma in Information and Library Science. For the time being, that's enough for me, but future training or study opportunities may well lure me back at some point.

I blog at wordpress as the Singing Librarian and am also actively involved in the life of my church. People have sometimes wondered how I find time to eat and sleep, but I do.
