I am currently a graduate student at the University of Washington in the Department of Physics. I have been working toward the measurement of 8B solar neutrinos at the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory (SNO). My primary responsibilities have been the installation, commissioning and electronics calibration of the Neutral Current Detectors. I'm writing a dissertation which focuses on the data quality and measurement of backgrounds in the NCDs , which are critical to the measurement of the very-low neutrino detection rate.
