My real name: Gaetan Lion. My work email address uses “Guy” as a nickname. But, I’d prefer using my legal first name at Citizendium.

I am an avid reader and have become fairly knowledgeable about numerous subjects including health and medicine, cognitive science, psychology, sociology, current affairs, politics, history, climatology, sports, business, and economics. I have a bachelor degree in Geography from the University of Denver and an MBA from Thunderbird. I have over 20 years experience in technical areas of financial services. Since 1999, I have been working in one of the more quantitative oriented group within one of the largest American banks. I am really looking forward to working within a professionally steered environment. Citizendium’s concept of having expert editors given some authority over specific subjects is an excellent idea that has attracted me in applying to become a Citizen.
