I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Missouri - Rolla, with minors in music and technical writing. U.M. Rolla is an engineering college, so I can say a lot of my education was focused on classes for engineers. During my years at UM-R I published several poems and stories in the English Southwinds magazine, and was the Vice-President of the Economic Society and Political Organization (ESPO), having presented a paper to the Missouri Legislature on Microsoft vs U.S. Supreme Court in 1998 (centered around the anti-trust laws and extensive use of Charles Mueller's anti-trust laws website).

Since the mid-nineties I've had an interest in cycling both road and mountain bikes. Hopefully in the near future this can become more feasible, but for now it's merely a dream. Other interests include gunsmithing and woodworking, though I'm an amateur at both. One goal I've set out for is to be the best target shooter in the region, and possibly shoot at the Bianchi cup in Columbia, Missouri. Growing up, my father introduced me to firearms in a very 'serious' way, and as a result, I take firearms and the second amendment very seriously.
