Only government officials and bankers call me James: I answer to Jay. This San Diegan graduated from Harvard College ('57), added an MBA at Canada's Ivey ('61), did broadcast law at UCLA and realty at a diploma mill. CEO, a small firm since '83, VP of one friend's and treasurer of another's. Serve as treasurer of four regional non-profits. Two non-profits and my Harvard 50th will be my links. My daughter is a grant writer living on her own spread, while my son lives on an island. My Kat regards herself as a significant other, or at least acts like it. I write, often researching here when not in my own three thousand books, so it's time I pay my dues as an author. Within the spread of geography, history, business and economics I may find some topics, if my reservoir of trivia proves useful: in the hobby area, I've been a philatelist since 1944 and may be helpful there perhaps. Time is my toughest issue in helping.
