Jennifer Bach is a doctoral student at Arizona State University, writing her dissertation on the history of mental health care in the Phoenix metro area. She is also a graduate student at the University of Arizona, pursuing her master's in library and information science. She has a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in history. She currently works as a production specialist (editor, essentially) for CVS Caremark, a company that manages prescription benefits for other organizations. She enjoys that position, but her dream job would be working as a historical librarian at an academic library. She plans to intern with the ASU historical librarian this summer.
Jennifer became somewhat of a Mary Todd Lincoln expert during her studies at ASU, writing several published articles and book reviews and acting as a peer reviewer on the topic of Mrs. Lincoln and, particularly, her mental health.
