Discouragement

What I've been founding here isn't what I expected when I came. Respect for expertise doesn't mean experts must write the whole encyclopaedia from scratch. That is unfeasible. Wikipedia can do it because of its number of contributors. We can't.

Moreover, there are articles which AREN'T technical. Physics, e.g., doesn't need that horrible banner in the top. Why would an introductory article on Physics need an expert to review it? What could be said in such an article which were at the same time incorrect and only detectable by experts?

Wikipedia, as a community, has a problem of stupidness in respect to technical articles. I thought that a Wikipedia where experts were respected in their subjects of expertise would be strictly better. That's not this project. This project is paranoid in its present form.

Bio

Native Spanish speaker (Canarian, concretely). Native French speaker, although it's been so much time since I last spoke, read or wrote in French that I cannot assess my level.

22 years old until September.

Graduated (5 years in Spain) in Computer Science by Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Well, indeed I've left three subjects and my senior these for the 2007/2008 year so I can have scholarship for another year.

Completed 1st to 3rd grade of Physics in Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia. Studying 4th year in Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

I got an introductory course on Economics (both micro and macro).

I know the Chatolic Church fairly well, since I was educated in it and hasn't stopped learning about it.

I don't know if anything else is expected to be found in my bio...

Why do many people here write their bios using 3rd person??

I don't know. Could it be the majestatic "We" ?
