I was educated in a mixture of state and private schools before moving on to Bristol University to study music, concentrating on composition and musicology. After a brief career as a music journalist and classical composer, I switched direction artistically and studied sound engineering and recording before forming an 80's electro band. This sadly failed to ignite the world,(or even a small part of it) and I retired from the world of music to the world of IT,(more lucrative possibly, but less interesting definitely).
