I was born in late 50s in the USSR, in 1991 moved to Germany and in 1993 immigrated into the USA. In 1982 graduated from the Mendeleyev Chemical University in Moscow, with a masters degree in cybernetics (similar to modern "Computer Science"). For 3 years has been working for the Strategic Nuclear Intelligence of the USSR, then for the Academy of Science. After moving to the US, settled as an IT specialist. My interests include: computer science, linguistics, history, geography, astronomy, music (classical, world), to which fields I would like to be contributing occasionally. Beside English, I speak Russian and Spanish, read in German, Italian and French.
