Michael Spencer is a registered Landscape Architect in continuous practice since receiving his Master of Landscape Architecture degree from Louisiana State University in 1978. He currently runs a small design firm in Naples, Florida [MSA Design]. He contributes a weekly column to the Naples Daily News.

Mr. Spencer studied Classics as an undergraduate and graduated in 1974. He is well-known in the local area, serving clients from real estate developers, where he offers land and site planning services as well as planting design and related services. A small pert of his practice includes estate-level garden design.
