My interests are many and varied and include history, literature, nature, film and travel. I am in my early sixties and retired. I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge but little use for it when acquired hence Citizendium may be the place for me to share the knowledge I feel is important or just interesting. In literature there are many writers that are in danger of being forgotten and passed over by readers. There is a tendency to read either the classics of the 19th century or the best sellers of today and totally miss the all writers of the 20th century such as Graham Greene and Mervyn Peake. I want to write some articles about some of these authors.
