Peter Kurtz attended college at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, where he wrote articles for various campus publications. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Ohio University in 1981, with English and history as his main areas of concentration. Since graduating from OU, Pete has worked as a newspaper ad representative, disc jockey, landscaper, freelance writer, proofreader, and technical writer. He has contributed music articles, reviews, and interviews to AMG music encyclopedias, and Goldmine and Discoveries record-collecting magazines, as well as book reviews to Amazon.com. His hobbies include genealogy, running marathons, collecting vinyl records, and reading popular histories and classic fiction.
