Though challenging, it is always immensely rewarding to work with people that are willing to learn and improve themselves. The feelings of accomplishment for both the learners and the instructor are not soon forgotten – which is probably why we can recall the names of our most memorable teachers!

Guiding others in their personal and professional development has deeply reinforced my appreciation and understanding of the strength of the human spirit. Regardless of their immediate circumstances, each individual has remarkable value as an intelligent force of life within their respective communities -- and on this planet!

Everyone's unique skills and talents, when connected to a strong community of other caring people, amplify in strength, augment our individual patience and courage, and fortify our collective acceptance of life's uncertainties. Social networks, and even President Barack Obama's message of reconciliation and change, have shown that many people from diverse cultures and geographically distant countries can be brought together to focus on resolving global challenges.

According to global leadership guru, Dr. Stephen R. Covey, “The need to leave a legacy is our spiritual need to have a sense of meaning, purpose, personal congruence, and contribution.” That is my primary focus at this stage in my professional career.

After my first career in management within the not-for-profit professional theater, I “switched gears” and have spent my "second career" as a performance improvement and strategic education consultant and administrator. Now, I am now looking for new challenges and opportunities that combine personal meaning and social impact!

With more than 36 years of project management and organizational learning experience, I would like to apply my business acumen to initiating and deepening international and intercultural programs. As a lifelong learner myself, managing learning programs for businesses and individuals that need to reach their organizational or personal goals continues to be of interest.
