I am an associate professor at the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at Simmons College. I am editor of the Open Access Directory (oad.simmons.edu). I am a contributing editor (columnist) for Information Today. My PhD. and my Master's degrees are from Syracuse University, my undergraduate degree is from the University of Oregon. I am from California but reside now in Cambridge, MA.
